The Medallion Hunt Golden Lure Has Been Found!

Dakota City Heritage Village

Dakota City Heritage Village will be hosting a Family and Friends Fun Day at the Village on Friday, June 16. All are invited to come and visit the past and experience life at the turn of the last century. Tours will be provided at 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 11:00 am, 11:30 am and 12 Noon. The museum will be open to see horse-drawn buggies and farm machinery from the good old days. Children will be able to enjoy playing vintage games, watching the blacksmith at work in his forge or the woodworker working on a wood project. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the Village either before or after a tour.

New Events!

Check out our two new events for this year's Dew Days: 

SAFETY ZONE - Demonstrations and training on Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services!   Learn about smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and basic first aid tips, shoot water at a miniature house, watch a fire hose rolling contest and much more! 

CLASSIC TENNIS TOURNAMENT - are you a tennis player?  Sign up for the first annual Dew Days Classic Tennis Tournament.  Division are available for both Juniors (age 10 and under) and Adults.  All participants will receive a free t-shirt so don't miss out!

DEW DAYS OLYMPICS - anyone over 18 can compete in teams where they will participate in a series of competitions. The games will consist of Jenga, Bean Bags, Washews, Golf Ball Toss and possibly more to come.

The Farmington Ambassador Program is proud to announce that our 2007-2008 Miss Farmington Lindsey (Bailey) Sandoval was crowned the 2017 St Paul Winter Carnival Aurora Queen of Snows at last Friday nights coronation.

Our Farmington ladies continue to make us proud!

It's time to start forgetting about the cold winter days and looking forward to the hot summer celebrations!  Farmington Dew Days© will be held June 13-17, 2017 and we hope you can join us for all of the old favorite events and some new and exciting offerings.
